YeeeeHA Sunday!
We had such a blessed day for Round up Sunday. The estimated number in attendance was 950. Many decisions were made and a great time was had by all. I was overwhelmed all day and it is hard to put it into words. It was just a tremendous day. Everywhere I looked were people. I had my picture taken hundreds of times. They call them “snaps”. I also took hundreds of pictures. I cannot post them all so I will post highlights.
The crowd flows outside of the building with 150 or more outside the building listening to the speakers. The speakers kept going out, but the Preachers kept going.
This is my sweet friend. She stopped by with her father on Monday evening to sing us a goodbye song. It so touched my heart, I cried. I video taped her singing the song and have listened to it many more times and have cried. We had to leave for visitation and she and her father stayed until we returned. She sang the song again before the left. Again, Jeff and I cried.
Here are the two Pastors. They have so much in common. Their hearts are knit together.
This is a picture with the Pastor Raju’s family.
Here is me and Jeff after a very long day!

FINALLY, the alpha male MONKEY!
I have been watching for the monkeys all week. FINALLY in the wee hours of the morning I was summoned outside to see the monkey in the trees. Please click on the images and enlarge them, it is unbelievable this monkey.
The sun was coming up… so cool!
He was looking at me!
This monkey is 5’6 and weighs probably 120lbs.
This little child was on the ground and had no idea the monkey was above.
While Americans were shopping on Black Friday, we were enjoying a service under the stars (and tent)
We traveled to Preeti Colony for a service with one of the graduated students who is now a Pastor. Pastor Aarun is the pastor of this church. The name of the church means “hope” There were 100 under the tent. I sat down to take a picture with the children and by the time the picture was taken, I was surrounded so I just stayed on the ground. It was so special to be surrounded by these beautiful people. I think I received the best black friday deals hands down!
Jeff and Pastor Raju, brothers working together.
Again they showered us with flowers (I am behind the lady in the white and purple Saree) and again, I cried.
Moving the dirt….
Ladies Meeting
On thursday evening we had a ladies meeting. It was such a fun time. We spoke about being a servant in the Church. It was a thrill to find out from the Pastor that the ladies here are servants and gladly volunteer.
Pastor was my translator. I tried not to say anything embarrassing. 🙂
I taught the ladies to make funny faces for pictures like we do in America.
I had some men who were curious as to what the American would say so they came to the ladies meeting.
Giving the ladies a “sweet” and thanking them for coming. This i s the Pastor’s mother.
This is the lady who made my Saree top. Her name is Shivkantama.
These ladies are from Lakeside.
Washing the feet….
Today I was honored to speak to two national Pastor’s wives about being a Pastor’s wife. At the end of the lesson I encouraged them to be servants and I told them I was going to wash their feet. It was such an honor to me to wash their precious feet. I was also honored to wash the feet of my best friend, who is a Missionary’s wife. What a blessed morning, on Thanksgiving. I give thanks for these precious ladies.

The lady who lives by the railroad tracks….
Featured in the top picture on the blog is the lady I told you about who lives by the railroad tracks. They say at one time she was a very brilliant woman and could communicate in English. Something happened to her, and now she is “mad” and doesn’t communicate at all. We saw her yesterday and Jerilyn saw her throw up and was concerned so as we passed by her home we stopped and she checked on her and gave her some bananas. Jude 22 in action. This is her “home” The tent that was constructed for her is now in a heap and she does not use it for shelter.
